Falyn Huang is a New York based creative director, photographer and make-up artist. She holds a passion to capture the crevices between moments of a posed façade and fundamental truth, proving her artistry is in constant shift. Since founding Bonzaī Studīo in 2015, Falyn has collaborated with various artists including Sky Ferreira, Chance the Rapper and Elley Duhé. She has also been published and featured in Vogue Italia, L’Officiel, Wonderland Magazine, Paper Magazine, among many other publications.

Her craft confronts the nuances of photography with elements of love, inclusion and adventure. Falyn challenges the diligence of unbashful expression and pushes towards an ethos of positive change by disrupting the expectations that the modern world has unjustly bestowed upon us. She illustrates image making as a layered process that details the complexities of our mundanity. Through her eyes, we can explore the innocence that has been taken by life’s heartbreaking turmoils.
